The 10000 dell'Aceto Balsamico is a 10 km road race in Spilamberto, a Modena-area town known for its balsamic vinegar. Held in late October, it takes place within the historic center, not as a point-to-point course. The Modena Runners Club organizes the event, supported by Polisportiva San Vito and Atletica Spilambertese. The competitive race holds national bronze FIDAL certification.
The course is a 2 km circuit run five times, leading participants past the same streets and landmarks repeatedly. It passes under the Torrione and by Rocca Rangoni, where awards are presented. Race day also features a non-competitive run and children's races as part of the Trofeo AVIS Comunale. The inaugural event saw over 300 non-competitive participants. Local reporting highlighted it as a convergence of running and Spilamberto's culinary heritage, with Nakhl and Cordazzo finishing among the leaders in the competitive race.
