Lignano Olympic & Sprint Triathlon 2026

The Lignano Olympic & Sprint Triathlon takes place in early October in Lignano, starting and finishing in Piazza M. D'Olivo. It features the standard Olympic distance: a 1.5 km swim, a 40 km road bike course, and a 10 km road run. A shorter Sprint format is also available, with a 750 m swim, a 20 km bike ride, and a 5 km run. The event focuses on road cycling and running. Following the swim, participants transition to the streets for the cycling and running segments, bypassing trails or off-road terrain. The available categories are Triathlon S, Triathlon M, and Triathlon TOP, allowing participants to select the sprint race, the Olympic-distance race, or a top-tier category within the same Lignano event.
