PeschieraTri is a triathlon weekend held in October in Peschiera del Garda, situated on the southern shore of Lake Garda in the Veneto region, located between Venice and Milan. It features Sprint, Olympic, and Medium (Half-distance) races. The Sprint race takes place on a different day, and a combined entry is available for athletes wishing to compete in both the Olympic and Sprint distances. The Medium and Olympic races commence at Cappuccini Beach and conclude in the town center. The courses loop around Peschiera del Garda, passing the town’s historic walls, which are part of a UNESCO-listed fortress system. The swimming portion takes place in Lake Garda. The event is part of the FollowYourPassion calendar and the Challenge circuit. It attracts significant interest from Italian triathletes, evidenced by recent Saturday races selling out, and the weekend also incorporated the Peschiera Urban Night Trail on Friday evening.
