Montepulciano Run is a three-day running series held in Montepulciano, located in the Siena area of Tuscany, under the name Tra Vigne e Colline del Vino Nobile. Taking place in early October, it provides both competitive races and non-competitive options. This makes the same weekend suitable for runners aiming for a specific time, individuals preferring a relaxed walk, and companions looking for a trip centered around the event.
The routes traverse the town and surrounding countryside of Montepulciano, featuring vineyards, olive groves, and proximity to the Val d'Orcia. The historic center incorporates Renaissance streets into the weekend's activities, while the nearby wine country offers access to cellars that range from architecturally notable sites to more secluded rural wineries. The competitive races include the 6.6 km Lumediluna Urbantrail and La Nobile Corta. This series is in its early stages, with its third edition scheduled.
