Moonlight Half Marathon 2026

The Moonlight Half Marathon begins at sunset from Piazza Milano in Lido di Jesolo, on Italy’s Venetian coast. This night road race features a 21 km half marathon and a 10K, typically held near the end of May. Over 8,000 runners are anticipated, with Italian and international athletes participating in the same seaside event. Venicemarathon and the City of Jesolo organize the race. The Moonlight Village in Piazza Milano manages bib pickup, goody bags, an expo, changing rooms, bag storage, restrooms, and showers. The course is flat and fast, suitable for runners aiming for a quick time and those seeking a summer-evening race by the water. Starting from Piazza Milano, the route crosses the Jesolo countryside, runs alongside the Cavetta Canal, passes the Cortellazzo tourist marina, and follows the mouth of the River Piave. It then winds through green pinewood parks before concluding on the beach under the night sky. The event also features the Alì Family Run, adding a local dimension to the weekend beyond the half marathon participants.
