The swim for the Sabaudia Triathlon Olimpico begins at Sabau Beach, with Monte Circeo visible in the distance. This Olympic-distance triathlon takes place in Sabaudia, known as the “city of dunes,” situated on Italy’s Pontine coast. It follows the standard swim-bike-run format and is scheduled for autumn in the local race calendar.
The course winds through a coastal landscape of beach, dunes, and seafront, concluding on the lungomare. Approximately 200 athletes participate, primarily from Lazio and other regions of Central Italy. The event is organized by Associazione Sportiva Guida Sicura, under the direction of Massimiliano Zanetti, who characterizes the route as one that athletes will find enjoyable.
