The Semi-Marathon d'Udine is an annual half marathon held in Udine, Italy, each late September. It covers a distance of 21.1 km and is organized by Associazione Maratonina Udinese. This event combines a public road race with an elite international field, allowing club and recreational runners to participate alongside athletes competing for fast times.
The race weekend extends beyond the main half marathon, featuring handbike and jogging-stroller divisions, Nordic walking, and the STRAUdine, a 7 km non-competitive run. The Udine course has previously hosted the IAAF World Road Running Championships, setting the fastest men's and women's half marathon times ever recorded in Italy. Geoffrey Mutai's record stands at 59:06 for men, and Margaret Okayo's at 1:07:23 for women. Kenyan athletes have largely dominated the elite competition, with all men's winners originating from Kenya and Kenyan women winning all but four editions. Okayo and Anikó Kálovics of Hungary have each won the women's race three times.
