About this race
The Sette Termini Climb is a short cycling hill race in northern Italy, covering a 4.45 km segment from Laghetto di Montegrino to the Sette Termini summit. Team Kannelloni organizes the event, which focuses on both riding hard and raising funds. All proceeds are donated by the team to AIL Varese, an association supporting the fight against leukemia and the hematology department at Varese’s Circolo Hospital.
The climb is short, welcoming a wide range of riders, yet the route demands a serious effort from the lake to the summit. Francesco Sardo, Marco Ebene, and Timoteo Beltrame recorded the fastest times at the first edition, although the organizers emphasized that participation and donations were more important than the finishing order. Local partners contribute a practical, friendly element: Camp My Ride provided refrigerators for cold water and hydration, and Lo Scoiattolo, a fresh pasta maker from Lonate Ceppino, offered riders pasta to take home after the climb.
