Stelvio Trail Run 2026

The Stelvio Trail Run covers 21 km in South Tyrol's Venosta Valley. It begins in Prad am Stilfserjoch and ascends into the Stelvio National Park. Held in summer, the race features 2,100 meters of elevation gain within its half-marathon length, emphasizing the climb over flat-ground speed. The course winds through the mountain village of Stilfs before ascending further into the national park to a finish above the Stelvio Pass. Participants conclude at the Dreisprachenspitze, situated at 2,845 meters, with the Ortler mountain group as a backdrop. The event welcomes professionals, hobby runners, and hikers, including those with trekking poles. Organizers offer return transport to Prad via bicycle, shuttle, or bus. Now in its tenth edition, the race attracts participants from local valleys and beyond.
