StraLivigno

StraLivigno begins at Aquagranda in Livigno, Valtellina, offering a 21 km mountain half marathon through the Livigno valley. The main race takes place in July, starting in the late afternoon. The route is hilly, featuring over 450 metres of elevation gain on varied terrain. The course incorporates dirt paths, forest sections, single track, gravel roads, and some asphalt, giving it a trail running character rather than a road half marathon feel. Established in 2000 with a few hundred participants, it now attracts trail runners, amateurs, and professionals, who can compete individually or as a two-person relay team. The event weekend also features MiniStralivigno, a children's race with age groups, emphasizing sport and play.
