Trail Dei Nebrodi offers trail races and non-competitive walks on the dirt paths of Nebrodi Park in Sicily. The primary race is 55 km with 2,450 meters of elevation gain. The Trail di Mazzaporro is 17 km with 800 meters of gain. A 17 km, 800-meter route is available for walkers as the Walktrail, and Corri Nebrodi provides a 5 km option with 320 meters of gain. This is mountain running on rough terrain, not manicured park trails. At least 90% of the routes are off-road, featuring steep sections and uneven ground. The rules advise against participation without adequate preparation. Runners must remain on the marked course due to potentially lengthy rescue times in this environment. Four aid stations will offer food and water, but participants must bring their own cup or container. Waste should be disposed of in provided bins. ASD Ecotrail Sicilia organizes the event, and races proceed regardless of weather unless conditions pose a significant safety hazard.
