Triathlon sprint silca cup

The Silca Cup Sprint Triathlon takes place on Lake Santa Croce in Farra d'Alpago, within Italy's Veneto region, typically in mid-July. The format follows the standard short triathlon distances: 750 meters swimming, approximately 20 kilometers road cycling, and 5 kilometers running. This structure is suitable for fast age-group competitors and athletes seeking a challenging yet concise race day. The swim occurs in the lake, the cycling segment consists of two laps on the roads surrounding Alpago, and the run also involves two laps, incorporating lakeside paths in the Belluno basin. Over 500 athletes are anticipated, with a significant number traveling from Northern and Central Italy. Silca Ultralite Vittorio Veneto is the organizing body, and Alpago has established a notable triathlon history, hosting national cross triathlon and elite Olympic-distance events.
