VUT - Valmalenco UltraDistance Trail

Valmalenco UltraDistance Trail is a summer mountain-running weekend in Valmalenco, set in a high alpine environment with semi-self-sufficiency rules. The main event offers three distances: VUT 90, a 90 km race with 6,000 m elevation gain; VUT 35, a 35 km race with 2,700 m elevation gain; and VUT 13, a 13 km race with 1,000 m elevation gain. The series is now in its eighth year, establishing it as a regular local trail event. The shorter distances allow participation beyond ultra specialists. Additionally, the non-competitive Mini VUT provides a 2 km route for children and teenagers up to 18 years old.
