Walk of Life is Fondazione Telethon’s charity running and walking event for rare-disease research, welcoming both runners and walkers. The event features a competitive and non-competitive 9.9 km race, and a 3 km walk for those seeking a shorter route. It focuses on fundraising for scientific research into rare genetic diseases and support for individuals with rare conditions.
The Napoli edition begins and ends near Rotonda Diaz on the waterfront, attracting a diverse group: adults, children, professional and amateur runners, researchers, volunteers, and those involved in medical care. Some participants wear superhero costumes, contributing to a visible family and community atmosphere alongside the races. The Napoli event has seen over 4,500 registered participants and raised 87,000 euros for research, with Abdelmajid Benrkia and Francesca Palomba among its race winners.
