About this race
A light blue flag indicates the meeting point for the Osaka Yodogawa Night Relay Marathon at Yodogawa Kasen Park Nishijimacho Baseball Field in Osaka's Yodogawa Ward. This marks the second year for the event, which runs from mid-afternoon into early evening and offers relay options over 10 km and 20 km. The 10 km relay is for teams of 2 to 5 people, and the 20 km relay is for teams of 2 to 10; both are open to participants from elementary school age and up, with a 2 hour 30 minute time limit.
The event focuses on team running, allowing friends, clubs, school-age runners, and mixed-age groups to share the distance. A Family Run is also available, pairing one elementary school-age child or younger with one high school-age or older runner, and has a 30 minute limit. The course is located in the Nishijimacho area of Yodogawa Kasen Park, utilizing a riverside sports field rather than a closed city-road course.
