About this race
The 235th UP RUN Imperial Palace Marathon is a morning running event held around Tokyo’s Imperial Palace, located centrally within the city. Six race distances are available: a 5 km parent-child race, a solo 5 km, a 10 km, a 15 km, a 20 km, and a 20 km relay.
The event accommodates various participants, including those aiming for a specific time, runners monitoring their training, individuals new to racing, and families running as a unit. Official timing is offered, allowing participants seeking a recorded result to use the event as a formal assessment rather than a casual run.
