7 van 7huizen Loop

The 7 van 7huizen Loop is a community running event in Zevenhuizen, Netherlands, organized by Stichting 7 van Zevenhuizen. It is an annual park run featuring five distances, from a 300-meter youth run to the main 7 km race. The program accommodates all ages, with youth races beginning in the early evening and the 7 km open to runners aged 11 and up. Entries are limited to 600, maintaining a local, manageable scale. The course follows the flat rural landscape surrounding Zevenhuizen, passing village landmarks and historical sites. Local and regional runners form a significant portion of participants, including children, beginners, club runners, and more competitive athletes. The event provides practical race-day amenities: changing rooms, showers, parking, a supervised cloakroom, first aid, an AED, massage, water stations, and professional timing. Following the races, attendees can enjoy food and music.
