About this race
Grand Raid Godefroy is a 100% mountain-bike weekend in Bouillon, held on the second weekend of September for about 25 years. It is part of the Belgian Ardennes Marathon Series and traditionally serves as the series finale. The program includes the GRG Enduro and GRG Marathon, with MTB routes from 40 km to 120 km plus a 15 km Enduro Kids option with 500 m of climbing.
The start and finish are in the center of Bouillon, with routes heading into the Semois valley country around the town. Riders will encounter old paths, roots, varied ground, natural obstacles, and challenging descents rather than a simple road-style endurance test. The Enduro is compact but demanding: 40 km, seven timed special stages, and over 1,400 m of positive elevation. The event attracts serious mountain bikers, younger riders, and endurance riders seeking one of Belgium’s notable MTB weekends; it has also appeared on the UCI Marathon Series calendar.
