About this race
The Boels Rental Run is a road race in Dordrecht featuring youth races, a 5 km, a 10 km, and an official half marathon. It takes place in March, organized by Omnivereniging Fortius. The event is now in its 48th edition. Recent entries sold out well before race day, with approximately 1,500 places filled and a record 1,364 starters across all distances.
The half marathon route runs along the Wantij and through the Hollandse Biesbosch, providing a distinct Dordrecht setting beyond the city streets for the longer race. This half marathon is also part of the StardGRL running circuit. The participants include youth runners, 5 km and 10 km racers, half marathoners, club athletes, and competitive runners aiming for fast times. Recent conditions allowed Saskia Kersbergen to set a women’s half marathon course record, and Mohamed Badi extended his winning streak at the event.
