BRM1000 Maastricht - Paris - Maastricht is a 1,000 km randonneuring ride from Maastricht to Paris and back. It begins at Stayokay Maastricht on Maasboulevard at 10:00 in June. Riders are allotted 75 hours to complete the distance, marking it as a substantial self-supported endurance challenge. The route initially follows the Maas River south from Maastricht, then circles around Liege, incorporating early climbs. It exits Belgium via the Maas valley, reaching Charleville-Mezieres. From there, it deviates from the river, heading toward Paris before retracing its path back to Maastricht. Randonneurs NL, organized by Ivo Miesen and Hans Westheim, coordinates the ride, building on previous Limburg events centered around the Rondom Luxemburg loop.
