Tecklenburg Rundfahrt sends road cyclists from the Dutch cycling-club world into Germany's Teutoburg Forest, organized by FTC CC'75 from Nijverdal. It is a May touring ride, not a closed elite race, and has been run enough times to be a fixture on the Dutch touring calendar. The ride's draw is the hillier Teutoburg Forest terrain, leading riders to compare it with the Amstel Gold Race as a strong alternative. Entries build quickly, with hundreds signed up months ahead.
