De Grensland mountainbike marathon

The KOBRA Grenslandmarathon begins at Kluunvenweg 14 in Tubbergen, directing mountain bikers into the adjacent wooded Dutch-German border region. This event offers ATB riders choices of 35, 50, 75, and 100 km distances, with all starting between 08:30 and 09:30. Each distance is priced at €12, helmets are required, and participants receive a marked course and a GPX file. The course features unpaved trails and a significant amount of singletrack winding through the undulating landscape surrounding Tubbergen. A substantial portion of the route is accessible only once a year after landowners grant permission, providing riders entry to normally restricted areas. The 35 and 50 km routes include one aid station, the 75 km route has two, and the 100 km route is equipped with three. Now in its 11th year, the event is designed for seasoned mountain bikers seeking a challenging off-road challenge.
