Devil’s Trail – Schiermonnikoog

Devil’s Trail Schiermonnikoog guides runners across the Dutch Wadden Island of Schiermonnikoog, offering a 10 km NightTrail and day trails of 15 km and 30 km. The race utilizes trails within the National Park and areas managed by Natuurmonumenten, with a limit of 1000 participants. It is also a cup-free event, donating a portion of the proceeds to Natuurmonumenten. The start and finish are located at De Berkenplas and group accommodation De Oorsprong, approximately 1.3 km on foot from the ferry terminal. The courses combine rolling dunes, forest paths, wide beach, wet salt-marsh tracks, and short paved sections near De Oorsprong. The organization marks the routes with signs, and previous editions have featured named routes like the Kobbeduinen Trail and Brakzand Trail.
