Groene Hart Toertocht

The Groene Hart Toertocht is a mountain bike tour starting in Weesp, Noord-Holland. From the Papelaan start, the route immediately enters open polder landscape. Participants can select routes of 45, 65, 100, or 140 km. The course is approximately 60% off-road with about 150 meters of elevation gain. This route demands more than just riding on pavement. It features unpaved sections across wide fields and alongside twisting water channels, requiring riders to navigate, select lines, and maintain effort on soft ground. TFC Weesp is the organizing club. The finish area accommodates dirty bikes and weary participants with amenities including showers, changing facilities, a bike wash station, and secure bike storage. The typical participant prefers riding the polder outdoors over indoor training.
