About this race
The Gulbergen Trail begins by the Eindhoven Canal at Vamweg, near Nuenen/Mierlo, and follows the Gulberg, known as the “Roof of Brabant.” This Sunday morning race in March offers three distances: approximately 3.5 km, 7.5 km, and 10 km, suitable for young runners, adults, and those seeking a challenging yet brief off-road run.
The route explores the less-traveled parts of the Gulbergen, featuring wide, runnable paths, uneven terrain, a canal crossing, and inclines up to 15%. Each lap includes about 50 meters of elevation gain. The event attracts hundreds of local participants and spectators to Mierlo, with a limit of 400 runners. GPS route maps are provided, and the race is organized by regional running clubs such as LONU, LGM, LGB, and LOGO.
