About
The Gulpense Graveltocht - End of Summer Edition begins near Gulpen in South Limburg, featuring the Gulperberg as a prominent local landmark. This gravel bike tour is designed for participants seeking unpaved roads, forest paths, climbs, and varied surfaces, diverging from smooth road cycling. The event takes place at the close of summer, as the hills transition toward autumn.
The routes traverse the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, offering even the shorter distances a genuine cross-border experience. Participants can select from 75 km, 110 km, or 160 km options. The 75 km route remains hilly and challenging, the 110 km is a substantial marathon ride, and the 160 km is intended for endurance cyclists. This is a small-scale, relaxed event, catering to gravel enthusiasts who prioritize route quality over a large-scale mass participation ride.
