Maarkebeekvallei Trail

The Maarkebeekvallei Trail & Walk begins and ends at t'Sportkot Leupegem in Oudenaarde. Participants will enter the Maarkebeek valley via marked off-road paths. The event features two trail running distances, 23 km and 37 km, with walking options available for both distances. The trail races are electronically timed, whereas the walks are untimed and unclassified. The course winds through rural paths, open vistas, and diverse natural landscapes surrounding Oudenaarde. It provides sufficient distance for a substantial trail running experience, distinct from shorter park runs. The 23 km route includes a refreshment station at the 14 km mark, and the 37 km route adds a second station at 28 km. All participants receive a medal, post-event refreshments, and personal accident insurance. An optional engraving service for name and distance is available for those seeking a personalized memento.
