Marderhoekloop Oudemirdum

The Marderhoekloop is a road race in Oudemirdum, Friesland, limited to 250 participants and offering three distances: 5, 10, and 16 kilometers. The race starts and finishes at VV NOK - Dorpshuis It Klif, with registration, changing facilities, and limited showers located around the village hall. Online registration opens 30 days prior to the event, with late entries accepted at the village hall if capacity allows. The start line is approximately 500 meters from Dorpshuis It Klif, contributing to a compact village atmosphere distinct from large urban races. The course winds through quiet roads and forest paths surrounding Oudemirdum, featuring mostly flat terrain across open Frisian fields and passing historical landmarks. SVF members receive a reduced entry fee, pre-registration is more economical than same-day sign-ups, and a dedicated youth run is available for younger participants.
