MHB Overbetuweloop 2026

The MHB Overbetuweloop begins and ends at the Gemeentehuis in Elst, a village in Gelderland within the Dutch Betuwe region. This yearly running event offers five distances, ranging from short children's races to 5 km and 10 km events. The 400 m KidsRun is designed for children aged 4 to 7, the 800 m KidsRun for those aged 8 to 12, and a 1300 m TienerRun is also available. The 5 km race is open to participants aged 13 and up, while the 10 km race is for those 16 and older, making the day suitable for families and regular runners alike. The course winds through the village center and extends into the countryside alongside the river Linge. Both the 5 km and 10 km routes are officially certified by the Atletiekunie, a detail important for runners seeking an official measured result. The event has a participant limit of 1,200, and late registration is not available. Stichting Overbetuweloop organizes the event, providing race-day support such as public transport access, parking, massages, first aid, and an on-site AED.
