Obbink Run

The Obbink Run begins and ends at AV Archeus, located at sports complex De Hunenbulten in Winterswijk. The longer races extend into the countryside east of town. This spring running event offers 1 km and 2 km youth races, alongside 5 km and 10 km options for adults. Participant numbers are limited to 310, with electronic timing providing each runner with a net time. The clubhouse offers changing rooms and showers. The youth course remains near the Archeus track. The 5 km route incorporates sandy paths within and surrounding the Gossinkbos. The 10 km route includes unpaved country roads before looping back through the same woodland, featuring a water station along the way. The kidsrun is free, and both competitive and recreational runners participate in the same program. Framerunners are explicitly welcome. The event evolved from Archeus's established spring run, later adopting the Obbink Run name.
