PeelandRun

PeelandRun begins with a 300-meter lap on Voorstraat in Wissenkerke, after which participants proceed to the main distances around the village. The primary race commences at 11:00 AM, featuring 5.5 km, 8.5 km, and 15 km routes. The 5.5 km option is available for youth aged 13 to 15. Younger children participate in a separate Kidsrun earlier in the morning, with categories of 300 m, 900 m, and 1200 m starting sequentially. The event is closely linked with the Noord-Beveland cycling committee and coincides with the established Wielerronde Noord-Beveland, leading to the closure of Wissenkerke's center to vehicle traffic. Bibs, changing facilities, and bag storage are located at Zaal Onder de Toren, adjacent to the start and finish. Children and youth up to 15 years old can participate without charge. AV'56 members receive a discounted entry fee, and a distinct award is presented to the quickest local Peelander. Following the running awards, the focus shifts to the village's cycling races and the post-race gathering at de Kroon.
