Prevox Startbaan-loop

The Prevox Startbaan-loop is a monthly running event at AV Startbaan in Amstelveen, held on the first Sunday of the month. It offers runners a straightforward method to gauge their speed and fitness over short distances, with options for a 1 km run and longer runs of approximately 3 km or 5 km. The 1 km race begins first, intended for children and novice runners, with the longer distances commencing shortly after. Electronic timing captures both finish times and lap times, making the event suitable as a consistent fitness assessment. Entry is inexpensive, coffee or tea is provided for those in the longer races, and children receive a certificate and a small reward upon completion. Runners have access to changing and shower facilities at the athletics club.
