Run2Day Trimloop AAC'61 is a winter running series in Assen, Drenthe, organized by athletics club AAC'61. It takes place from October to March on the second Saturday of each month, featuring a relaxed atmosphere without a focus on competition rankings. Participants select their own distance, ranging from 3 to 15 kilometers, making it suitable for beginners, regular club runners, and individuals seeking a paced forest run during the colder season. The course begins at the Oranjewoudbaan, leading runners into the Asserbos on a loop slightly less than 3 kilometers, primarily on forest paths that are typically easy to navigate. Adults can complete one to five laps, covering 3, 6, 9, 12, or 15 kilometers. Younger runners have distinct 400, 800, and 1200 meter options on the athletics track near the clubhouse.
