Sfeervol Meerssen Run

The Sfeervol Meerssen Run guides participants through the center of Meerssen, a town in Limburg, on a Sunday in late September. This local road race offers adult distances of 5 km, 10.5 km, and 21 km, alongside youth races and a Kidsrun for ages 4 to 12. The 5 km begins in the late morning, followed soon after by the quarter and half marathons, ensuring the main group is on the roads concurrently. The route winds through Meerssen, not a closed park, passing the Basilica and proceeding through the natural surroundings of Waterval. Organizers note the course includes difficult inclines.
