Trail Springendalloop OLC'93 - Ootmarsum

The Springendalloop OLC'93 is a trail event held at Hoeve Springendal near Ootmarsum, starting and finishing on the farm. Participants can select routes of 5, 10, or 15 kilometers through the Springendal nature reserve, with an additional 8-kilometer walking route available. The Ootmarsumse Lopers Club organizes the event, capping participation at 500 runners and maintaining a recreational atmosphere over competitive timing. The course winds through the Springendal and Hezingen areas, with the natural setting being a focus since the event's inception. There is no official timing; participants record their own times if desired. Walkers follow a distinct approximately 8-kilometer path, children under 12 participate in the walk without charge, and this marks the event's eleventh year.
