TT City Run

The TT City Run begins at the TT Circuit and leads runners into Assen's center, connecting the motor-racing location with the city on the TT Festival's opening day. Adult participants can select from 5.4 km, 10 km, or 14.6 km distances. Separate entries are available for recreational runners and those aiming for competition. The course is straightforward: begin on the circuit, proceed towards Assen, and conclude downtown. The event also features a Plateau Kids Run, offering 500 m for younger school groups and 1.2 km for older children. Additionally, there are Business Run entries and TT Circuit Laps for individuals wishing to use the circuit at their own pace, regardless of experience or assistance. All participants receive a TT City Run medal. Organizers have previously canceled the event rather than proceed in unsafe heat when conditions deemed it irresponsible.
