Uithoorns Mooiste, de Loop

Uithoorns Mooiste, de Loop is a paved running event in Uithoorn, North Holland, organized by Atletiek Klub Uithoon and held in late January. Participants can select 5 km, 10 km, or 10 English miles. Shorter 1 km races are available for children up to age 11 and G-run participants. The event is part of the Zorg en Zekerheid Circuit and attracts a substantial local field, with over 1,500 runners reported and more than 400 starters in the 5 km alone. The longest route runs alongside the Amstel River. The 10 km route crosses Uithoorn and De Kwakel, incorporating a section of the new Legmeerbos. The 5 km route features a unique passage through a special greenhouse. The 1 km GeZZinsloop begins at AH Jos van den Berg, and the G-run starts at Westerbos & Mens Brood en Banket Specials. Beyond finishing positions, competitive runners can aim for cash prizes awarded to top finishers and bonuses for breaking course records.
