Veldsink Advies Rijsserbergloop 2026

The Rijsserbergloop is a Friday-evening running event in Rijssen, Overijssel, organized by AV Rijssen. It is a local race night with distances from 400 meters up to 10 kilometers. The evening starts with a bambinoloop for children up to six, and parents can join them. The main program includes 5K and 10K races, with kidsruns giving younger runners their own place on the schedule. The course runs through the Rijssen woods on a mostly asphalt route, but it is not flat: runners face a hilly setting, a solid climb, cobblestone paths, and even a section on the athletics track. Aid is available every 1.5 kilometers. The field mixes strong competitive runners with recreational runners, and a substantial prize purse gives the front of the race something extra to chase. The Reginox companies run joined the event in 2008, adding a workplace-team element to the local race evening.
