Venoseloop Vollenhove

The Venoseloop Vollenhove takes place at holiday park 't Akkertien in Vollenhove, Overijssel, on the second Saturday of October. Participants can choose between a 5-kilometer or 10-kilometer run. This event is designed for a wide range of participants, including children, older runners, casual joggers, club runners, and those aiming for a specific time. The courses lead from the holiday park into Vollenhove and the surrounding countryside, including natural areas outside the village. Over 500 runners participate in the 5K and 10K races, providing a significant turnout without becoming an overly large event. It originated as a small local run and has become a regular fixture for many regional runners, supported by local organizations and sponsors. Recent events have included a dedicated podium and personal sponsor banners, with photography at various points such as the dike, Laan van Toutenburgh, the finish line, and aerial views of Vollenhove.
