Welkoop Köttelpeer'n Classic

The Welkoop Kottelpeer'n Classic is an off-road cycling day in the Twente border area, offering mountain bike routes and a gravel option. Participants can select from three MTB distances; a 35 km route is available for younger riders, while gravel riders face a 90 km course designed for consistent progress on unpaved roads. The gravel route passes Brandlecht and Bad Bentheim, then proceeds towards Rothenberge before following long gravel paths back to the IJskuip finish. The new gravel ride was well-received, ensuring its place on the event schedule. The event maintains practical comforts: food and drink are provided at break points, and every finisher receives a hot cup of pea soup at the IJskuip.
