Zwolle

Zwolle is dead-flat cycling country in eastern Netherlands, anchored by the Ijssel River and surrounded by rural Salland. The Dutch Masters of MTB and Sallands Mooiste 140km route both use the network of dyke roads and farm tracks radiating from the city; gravel grinding and long-distance road cycling dominate. Runners have the Duo Marathon Putten duathlon nearby and local parkrun culture along the towpath, but serious elevation requires heading south towards the Veluwe hills 40km away.
