Alstahaug Maraton

Alstahaug Maraton is a Saturday running event in June centered around Sandnessjøen in northern Norway. The full marathon begins at Kulturbadet. It features four distances: a 42.195 km marathon, a 21.098 km half marathon, the 10 km Hårekmila, and a 5 km Mini race. The races utilize various start locations within the Alstahaug region. The half marathon commences at Belsvåg, Hårekmila starts at Offersøy or Mjåvalen, and the Mini race begins at Hestsundet or Hestsundbrua, near Tjøtta/Offersøy. This event marks its 40th edition, with organizers expressing a goal to continue for another 40 years.
