Bondespretten is a challenging 8.2 km cross-country race for adults, held at Etne senter in Sunnhordland as part of the annual Bondemarknad. Alongside the adult race, two children's races are held, with younger participants completing 400 m and 600 m while the adults navigate the longer course.
The extended course crosses Trommedalen, providing a genuine off-road challenge distinct from a typical market-day event. Its first running attracted 30 adults and 140 children, even with only two weeks' notice and competing with other local events. The market itself drew over 1000 attendees to Etne senter. Tom Erik Karlsen and Guro Naes were the victors in the adult race, and organizers anticipated Bondespretten's continuation as a fixture of the market.
