Gjesdalmilå 2026

Gjesdalmilå begins and ends at Gjesdal IL's athletics stadium in Ålgård. The 10 km race concludes on the running track at Sentralidrettsanlegget. This September road race offers a 5 km, a 10 km, and a 650-meter children's race, suitable for both adults and young runners. The 10 km course starts between the athletics stadium and Ålgård Football Club's training field. It descends toward the E39, crosses it via an underpass, and follows Edlandsvatnet to Ålgård School. The route then ascends Rettedalen before circling the lake and returning to the track. The 5 km also begins on the track, runs 100 meters in the opposite direction, then exits the stadium area. It passes Solås school and the Gjesdal halls, following a simpler, less hilly path than previously. The children's race remains near Ålgård Stadion, keeping the event focused on the sports facilities.
