The Nøsen Hundreds Ultra is a mountain trail race held at Nøsen Yoga and Fjellhotell on Valdresfjellet, Norway, situated east of Hemsedal and west of Fagernes. Taking place in June, the event features 21 km, 50 km, and 100 km distances, alongside a children's race. The 100 km race is UTMB 100K M eligible with an ITRA rating of 4, and the 50 km is UTMB 50K M with an ITRA rating of 2. The 21 km race is UTMB 20K M, making the weekend suitable for both ultra runners and those seeking a shorter mountain run.
The courses traverse rugged trails across the peaks separating Valdres and Hemsedal, with open terrain, rolling green hills, rocky mountains, and vistas towards Hemsedalsfjellene and Jotunheimen. The exposed nature of the terrain means participants should anticipate minimal shelter and potential for a cold north wind, even during the race period. These paths also hold historical significance, following routes historically used by people living off the land to navigate the mountains. Both the start and finish are located at the hotel, offering runners the option to camp on-site, utilize the hotel's catering, and return to a finish area featuring a tent camp and DJ.
