Nydalsløpet is a short community run starting at Gullhaug torg, offering 3 km or 5 km distances. The event is designed for a diverse group, not exclusively fast runners, welcoming friends, colleagues, and family to gather on the square.
The race maintains a straightforward format: two distances, a single meeting point, and a social atmosphere that organizers liken to a party. Competition is present at the front, with awards for the top 10 women and men in the 5 km and the top 6 women and men in the 3 km. Additionally, there are prize drawings from local and commercial partners including Odeon, Saucony, Elkjøp, Trattorio Crudo, Fangene på fortet, Egmont, and Klinikk for alle.
