SNN Ráidoviehkamat / løpskarusell is a six-race running series held at the Multipurpose Hall in Tanabru, starting and finishing outside on Per Fokstad geaidnu. A single registration covers all six races, regardless of how many an individual participates in. The distances accommodate a wide range of participants: 500 meters for ages 2-6, 1100 meters for family walkers and ages 7-14, and 3 km for runners aged 12 and up. Children and youth up to age 15 participate without charge; adults pay 200 kroner for the series, plus a license fee.
The short distances position this as a local, community-focused series rather than a competitive road race. The 1100-meter and 3 km courses are used on several race days. Participants aged 13 and older require a license, either a single-event or annual one. The single-event license costs 20 kroner for ages 13-15 and 30 kroner for ages 16 and older. All finishers receive fruit after each race, and the final race includes awards for all participants and prize drawings. Participants can also join remotely by submitting a photo of their distance and time via SMS or email before the race-day deadline; these remote participants are included in the results and prize drawings.
