About this race

Sjusjørittet begins at the Sjusjøen ski stadium in Innlandet, sending cyclists on a roughly 56 km route in late July. Organized by Brøttum IL, this gravel-focused mountain bike race is open to riders aged 17 and up. Most of the course follows gravel roads, with a few simpler off-road sections included. The route crosses the mountain terrain between Sjusjøen, Pellestova, Hornsjø, and Åstdalen. The day emphasizes steady gravel riding and rolling highland terrain over technical trail racing. This loop is also accessible to cyclists without a start number on other days, reflecting its local nature as both a competition and a popular cycling path in the Sjusjøen region.
