About this race
Teveltunet Vinterbackyard is a winter backyard race at Teveltunet, operating on a 12-hour clock. Runners begin a 6.7 km loop at 10:00 AM, and then again on each subsequent hour. To continue in the race, each runner must complete the loop within the hour and return to the start area before the next start signal. Awards are given to the top three finishers.
The format incorporates breaks as part of the race: runners may eat and drink between laps or carry supplies on the loop. No pacers or outside handoffs are permitted on the course, requiring participants to supply their own nutrition and hydration, though organizers offer some snacks, drinks, and fruit. The large hall is available for runners to set up personal spaces, with shared tables provided; participants should bring their own chairs. Changing rooms, toilets, and showers are accessible, and all participants are responsible for cleanup, including preventing trash from entering the natural environment.
