Trimkarusellen Grenland

Trimkarusellen Grenland is a Tuesday race series in Norway’s Grenland region. It begins in late April and is open to participants aged 15 and older. The series is designed for casual participation, allowing participants to run, jog, or walk. The program features timed races categorized by age group, as well as an untimed Trim option. The series has expanded from 10 to 12 races. Varden-løpet, held around Hjellevannet, starts the schedule, and Kjærnesmila has been added. The races take place at various local venues, such as Skien Fritidspark and Stridsklev. At Skien Fritidspark, the race covers a 5 km gravel path, with the start and finish located near the main entrance of the swimming park. The Stridsklev race, organized by Telemark Bedriftsidrettskrets, includes women’s and men’s age categories ranging from 15-19 up to 75+, in addition to the untimed Trim class. Following the races, refreshments like coffee, juice, and fruit are available, reinforcing the series' function as a relaxed gathering spot for friends, colleagues, club runners, and walkers.
